The Craft Hub Community
Community rules
Our community is meant to be a friendly, safe place to meet creative people in Berlin. These rules apply to profiles, connection requests and messages, on the website and in the app. Before you create a profile, connect or send messages, you confirm that you will follow them.
1.Be kind and respectful
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Saying no to a connection request or ending a conversation is fine and must be respected.
2.Zero tolerance
The following is never allowed:
- Harassment, bullying, threats and intimidation
- Hate speech and discrimination, for example based on origin, skin color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age
- Sexual content, nude images and unwanted advances
- Spam, advertising, scams and fraud, such as asking for money, gift card codes or payment details, or crypto and investment offers
- Fake profiles and pretending to be someone else
- Sharing other people's personal information without their consent
- Illegal content and calls for violence
3.Report and block
If something feels off, report it, even when you are unsure.
- To report a message, use “Report” right on the message.
- To report or block a person, use “Report” or “Block” in your conversation or connections.
- Blocking ends the connection and conversation immediately. You no longer see each other in suggestions, and the person cannot contact you again.
- Every report goes straight to our team. We review it within 24 hours.
4.Automatic filter
Profile texts and messages are automatically checked for abusive, sexual and fraudulent content. Texts that break these rules are not saved or sent.
5.Consequences
When rules are broken, we remove content, hide profiles and suspend or permanently ban accounts, without prior warning for serious violations. We may pass illegal content on to the authorities.
6.Meet safely
- Meet in a public place the first time, ideally at a Craft Hub event.
- Never send money or payment details to other members.
- Trust your gut: you don't owe anyone a reply.
- In an emergency, call 110.
