2-Day Knitting Course – Your First Scarf

Saturday 7th November: 11:00-13:00 (2h)
Saturday 14th November: 11:00-13:00 (2h)

Knitting can feel overwhelming at the beginning, maybe you've always wanted to try but never knew where to start, or maybe you tried once and realised it takes a little more time than you thought. That's exactly why I created this workshop: to learn from scratch and actually finish your own scarf.

If you've never knitted before but are curious about it, or if you knitted in the past and feel your skills need a little refresh, come and join this absolute beginner workshop.

Over two sessions, you'll learn the three essential techniques every knitter needs to know: cast on, knit stitch and bind off. I'll guide you step by step, and share tips and tricks along the way depending on where you need them.

Session 1: Choosing your yarn colour, casting on and learning the knit stitch.
Session 2: Continuing your scarf and binding off, so your piece is ready to wear.

Between sessions you can knit at home, I'll provide video tutorials to guide you, and if any mistakes happen along the way, the second session is there to fix them.
